“Great overall. Cabin was clean and cozy but a little heavy with furniture to navigate around. No toliet so thank gooodness I packed some and left a couple rola for the next guests. I’m convinced the giant tadpoles ate all the fish…not even a nibble. The hill going up to the cabin can be tough for someone with health issues. Big rocks along the shoreline makes it dificult to get in the water. Overall, it was a great stay with a nicely secluded can in the woods. My favorite part was the……

“Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies.”

“Perfect size for the 3 of us and our Shih Tzu. We were at Brule ski camp over Thanksgiving 2024. Plenty of space for us. Great location to restaurants, shopping and ski hill. Would stay here again!”

“This place has CLASSIC northern Wisconsin charm. We loved the fish, moose bear themes everywhere. Beds were snuggly on our cool nights. The kitchen was stocked the best we have seen for a getaway cabin. Only one thing missing-cheese grater! The living room is narrow and small, so if you had a bigger group on a bad weather day it would be tight. Lake access is across the road. This was a great location for biking, hiking, star gazing. Fabulous quilt store nearby. ”

“Just a few suggestions:1. Make sure there are towels & wash rags in each bathroom. There was not soap in each shower.2. More dishtowels & dish cloths.3. One microwave didn't work.4. One oven took forever to preheat.5. Rugs are a tripping hazard.6. Also, just wanted to let you know that the hot water heater alarm went off a couple of times.6. There was hardly any disherwasher soap.7. Suggestion - more boxes of kleenex.8. You might want to get the softener checked, also.”
