“Great place to stay for a family in Lower Manhattan ”

“There is no city view on this property. Great location! Use the subway as your transportation. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The rooms were clean (old) but clean and updated. The vents need attention. There is only 1 TV in the main room. All in all as a family of 5, in the Deluxe 2 Bedroom with bunkbed, we had a comfortable stay NY. Thank you!”

“I have brought my 1.5 year old baby girl to stay in Chambers. The heater was out while the outside temperature was below zero. Clark's feedback was cold as well, he told us to turn off air condition to gether warm air instead of changing room. Not to mention the actual room did meet the picture shown here (room looked old and bed is smaller than expected). We check out the very next day instead of three days that originally planned, and did paid the first night. Overall bad experience!!!”

“The hotel rooms are very clean. Just make sure you let them know if you want early checkin orcyou may have a problem. Your code is what lets you in the building.other than that, things are very close by. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is very safe.”

“This property has been skillfully and thoughtfully updated. Window unit AC in every room. Plenty of GFC outlets. Everything you need in the small and functional kitchen. Beautiful bathroom. One bedroom is a quiet dark cave. One is gorgeous and sunny. Surprisingly quiet for its location. There are city noises and that are to be expected, but the AC drowned them out. The Subway is about 30 steps away and you can get anywhere in less than 30 minutes! Here's the reason I can't give it five stars……

“Property was exactly as it was listed and we enjoyed the building and location. Only complaint was it was extremely hot in the room as the ac was not working. However the host responded promptly and explained the issue.”

“Couldn’t ask for a better location!! Super cool historic building and great apartment. Very comfortable beds and comfy space. Nice common area/library in the lobby. Great bar and restaurant attached to lobby as well. Would stay again for sure! ”
