“I really enjoyed this rental. It was clean and I appreciated intentional detail by the owner to make us comfortable. (all the way down to labeling cabinets around the house for easy access). ”

“ Overall good stay, we cooked our Thanksgiving dinner at the location. We had sufficient items and utensils to work with. Small problems are front door exterior light on porch not working. Also shower water does not get hot enough. Water from facet will scald but the showers are not adjusted to provide adequate hotwater. The neighborhood is less than desirable but tolerable for those that live in an ethnicly diverse environment. I was ok with this because I live in an ethnicly diverse……

“We were in town for a sporting event and it was perfect for our family of 4 which was more affordable than a hotel with more space for one night. The unit has a lot of charm and we found a great roastery for coffee along with brunch nearby. ”

“The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner……

“Nice apartment within a larger old building. Perfect for our evening out. We did dinner at Rappahannock (2 blocks away) and a show at The National (5 or 6 blocks). And best part was the walk up pizza place across the street. We got a couple slices at 12:30 am on the way back home. No issues with this place. ”

“I’m telling everyone about this cute barn! It was so relaxing and the atmosphere was just perfect for a weekend getaway! Everything is cared for. So relaxing! We stayed here and went into Williamsburg during the day - the drive was worth it. ”

While the stairs provided a bit of a workout, I suppose a little exercise is beneficial, even on vacation! ”
