“This cabin was the perfect little spot for a New Years vacation. It’s easy to get to, has parking on site, and is a short drive to get groceries, some shops in town, and more. We loved the nostalgic feel of the appliances and decor, including the retro Nintendo comforter! We cooked all of our meals while here, the stove and oven worked well and there were plenty of pots, pans, etc. The fireplace was easy to use and warmed the entire place well, even during a snowstorm. We were delighted with the quiet wooded setting and the aesthetically pleasing cabin where everything from building materials to bedding were chosen with care and an eye for quality. We enjoyed the using the complimentary kayaks in Knapp Pond and using the hot tub and fire pit on cool evenings. We used this spot as our landing spot between day bicycle rides. We visited a friend in Springfield and was able to see their work in the local gallery. We were a bit surprised by the long list of rules. The wet towel rule seemed a bit condescending and the threat of leaving any food behind… ”
