“I like the overall living environment. However it would be better if bellow can be improved: 1) “Clippers Quay” which is a quite big community with service apartments. It’s really hard for travelers to find the right place to check-in (get the keys) unless you call the house owner and wait for him sending staff to pick you up. In fact, the room is not located in the building which showed in Expedia intro photo (all the other way round…it makes traveller confused and inconvenienced especially……
“Great staff on the front desk.
Great location.
Large size room, clean linen, bathroom, kitchen and sitting space. Skirting boards dusty.
Easy lift.
Good parking. Tight but fits perfectly when everyone is parked properly. ”
“Stayed a few times in different epic hotels this time it was duke street townhouse the room was big lots of space , beds were comfy only one complaint it was far too hot even with the windows open not sure if air con was working ,myself and my husband had headaches in the morning from the heat apart from that it was a fab place too stay ”
“This is a good place to live. The layout is good and spacious. All the surroundings is clean and tidy.
The reservation team is good and responsive instantly.
Overall is wonderful ”
“Accommodation are comfortable and clean, there are many restaurants nearby. Staff are nice and helpful. Lots of noise in the street on Friday and holiday nights.”
“Lovely property. Wonderful views from the 26th floor across Manchester. 2 well proportioned bedrooms and both with en-suite. Good facilities in the kitchen and the apartment was really clean and tidy”
“Really lovely property, clean and modern. Parking was on roadside which was okay but had expected private parking.
Contact with Pillo before travel was excellent but unable to speak to anyone during stay which was limited to voicemail with no follow-up.
However on my return Pillo were very helpful and apologetic. Would love to stay there again.”
"A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement.
Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). Elevator is very fast and there are 3 of them, so no issues at all. The nearby Eccles Shopping Centre is being redeveloped, so it can get quiet at night. Large supermarket just opposite to the hotel. The Eccles town centre and train/tram station in around 5 minutes."
"I arrived quite early on the day. The reception lady stored my bags and allowed me to early check-in. Although i'm in no need rush. I want to visit the city first.
Warm welcome. It can become quite busy late in the afternoon.
The restaurants reservations is full until 2030 ( i approach them at 1830)
Close to train station.
Good breakfast but not costly "
"Within the walking distance to the airport terminal 2, I feel relieved to be check-in to the morning flight the next day. Though it is a tiny room for one person, I could refresh myself from the tireness with a comfortable bed and some space for exercise."
