“Safe neighborhood. Hubby went for a walk each morning. The property is clean! You park in the driveway and follow the little cobblestones on the left to get to your private entrance. Owner was kind enough to have the air conditioning already on when we got there so it was very comfortable. It is definitely located in Spring Hill. Close to restaurants and some stores like Walmart. “We enjoyed our stay at the mermaid retreat. The common areas are spacious and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and we very much enjoyed the kayaks, lanai and dock. “The house was cute. It had everything including 2 bikes. We didn’t use the kayaks but there were plenty. The floor inside is in need of a replacement. There was clearly some sort of flood or something. The floor is buckled and is a trip hazard. The batteries for the lock on the front door died. Luckily, the host was very responsive and sent the neighbor over with two new batteries. My son changed the batteries out (we had a screwdriver in our vehicle).
