“Overall it is a great location and base for adventure. Our group met Dr Pol and crew, visited Reindeer Rooftops, Carrie grocery and Yoder’s grocery. Dined at The Herrick House and Mulberry Cafe. The ATV trails made walking in the morning a delight. The black squirrel sightings thrilled my niece. The deer greeted us several times during the day. Michigan was a pleasant place and Lyndsey was a great host and responded un a timely manner. Loved the theme, movie room and secret room. Beds were……

“The check in and out were very easy. The location was beautiful. We did not need anything while we were there, very nice coffee bar. ”

“It was the perfect home to unplug and unwind! We live in San Antonio and come to Michigan yearly to visit our family so we are always trying to stay away from the city life during our stays and electronics. Waking up with coffee in the morning on the back porch was so peaceful. The home was quiet and clean. We will definitely be reserving again next time! ”

“Clean, cool and comfortable! Honestly can't recommend enoughl. The open floor space is great for socializing without feeling cramped. Coffee pods, shower items and laundry detergent/sheets were kindly provided. The neighborhood is quiet. And best of all, the back deck is incredibly calming! Watch the lovely Chippewa river go by, check out all the beautiful native birds visiting the feeder (get your Merlin app ready!), and enjoy the turtles, trout and other lovely wildlife who come to visit!……

“Very nice place. We weren’t there much as we were visiting our son on Crooked Lake . Two minor things that we didn’t mention on our critique sheet were that 1. Needs Kleenex in each bathroom 2. When we are paying this much for the use of your VRBO we didn’t think we should have to wash the dishes. No one could tell, then, if they were properly cleaned! Beds were great and living room was perfect! ”

“Extremely lucky to be able to book this place as it is across the street from our place. This worked out perfectly for our daughter & son’s (not saying in law, because he is like a son to us) wedding reception at The Castle. The property was perfect for Friday night pizza party (Hixson’s pizza!) before the big event Saturday. The boys stayed here and LOVED IT! The cornhole game, firepit & hot tub were a hit! Thank you soooooo much for a great stay!”

“This place was perfect for our family of 5. It was just my husband and I and our 3 kids ages 11, 10 and 4. We couldn’t have asked for more, there was swimming, fishing (paddle boat was great for that), and lots and lots of privacy! The host was also very great at responding to any questions we had. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay and would 100% stay here again.”

“My sister and I had a MUCH needed vacation here. The cabin was so nice! And immaculate. Nice kitchen, and beds were very comfortable. The view of the lake was superb. We watched three different fireworks displays going on at the same time. So fun. Angela is such a good hostess. She told us about stores nearby and restaurants. She answered questions we had about our stay before we got there. Very helpful and kind.”
