“It was the perfect home to unplug and unwind! We live in San Antonio and come to Michigan yearly to visit our family so we are always trying to stay away from the city life during our stays and electronics. Waking up with coffee in the morning on the back porch was so peaceful. The home was quiet and clean. We will definitely be reserving again next time! ”

“Clean, cool and comfortable! Honestly can't recommend enoughl. The open floor space is great for socializing without feeling cramped. Coffee pods, shower items and laundry detergent/sheets were kindly provided. The neighborhood is quiet. And best of all, the back deck is incredibly calming! Watch the lovely Chippewa river go by, check out all the beautiful native birds visiting the feeder (get your Merlin app ready!), and enjoy the turtles, trout and other lovely wildlife who come to visit!……

“Very nice place. We weren’t there much as we were visiting our son on Crooked Lake . Two minor things that we didn’t mention on our critique sheet were that 1. Needs Kleenex in each bathroom 2. When we are paying this much for the use of your VRBO we didn’t think we should have to wash the dishes. No one could tell, then, if they were properly cleaned! Beds were great and living room was perfect! ”

“There was so much thought put into a comfortable stay for guests: brand new reading glasses, paper plates, paper bowls, disposable overate, great seduction of dishes, pots, pans, extra towels, extra pillows, extra blankets, coffee, ice bags, soaps, shampoo and more. The communication with Jake was excellent! We are coming back in the spring. Close enough for us to go see the Tahquamenon Falls, Dow Gardens, Whitefish Point, Mackinac bridge and our favorite was The Mouth of Two Hearted River State……

“This house was great for our girls weekend! A lot of bunk beds, but we did our best to make it work. Some of our group are older women and it was not safe for them to adventure to a top metal bunk bed, but we were aware of that when we booked. Not a negative, just something to consider. The lake is very "mushy" and not really swim worthy, but a nice view! The indoor pool is AMAZING! The host is wonderful, very responsive and understanding. Tip: Ask for the FULL list of house rules prior to……

“It was a great all inclusive getaway. We never left the 4 days we were there. I was very impressed with the amount of gates used. This made the young mom’s feel more comfortable knowing their kids were safe. The beach was smaller than expected but still good. Dock was in an awkward spot so we never used it.”

“Plenty of space. Unfortunately the air wasn’t working on Sunday so we had to turn it off and wait for the compressor to thaw. It did work better for the next 11 hours. And one of the bedrooms, that had a portable unit did not work. Which ended up ok, because we ended up not using it. The water in the canal is pretty non existent, but the neighborhood beach was great!! Would we rent it again-definitely! ”
