“It’s hard to write this review because the hosts were wonderful and the chickens and horses were fun. I knew that it was going to be cold, but I would not have booked the room knowing there was a space heater which can be a fire hazard. I also think it was very overpriced. We were in a pinch so had no real choice. Definitely wouldn’t stay there again. ”

“This is a wonderful little getaway. You have all you will need. The host has put a lot of thought into every little detail from the beautiful rose curtains to the softest rugs. “This house/cabin is PERFECTLY situated on the Ichetucknee River. Clean, comfortable… huge screened in porches. It took our family about 2 and a half hours to paddle on the (available) kayaks upriver into the State Park and to the midpoint launch, and an hour to float/paddle back. The river access is… such a treat, and the deck out at the edge was much enjoyed. We saw a couple manatees swim by, even in April, which was a surprise.”

“Quiet,Relaxing. Just what we needed after loosing our brother in March. View from the porch was awseme. Drank wine on the river every night. One night had a fire in the fire pit. My sister caught a fish. I went kayaking for the first time. House was clean. Beds comfortable. Foos ball table and pacmantook us back to our childhooddays. Strongly recommend!childhooddays. ”
