“Everything was just as advertised. Property was located right on the Sante Fe River a very, very short canoe paddle to the Ichetucknee River.If you haven't been the the Ichetucknee River is a must. There was plenty of room for sleeping and the kitchen was well equipped. The backyard was large and fenced for our doodle. It was very easy to find even arriving after dark. “Getting into the house was seamless. The house was clean. A pack n play was available for my 1 year old. The beds were comfortable. I only wished there was a grill in the backyard. Otherwise the house was perfect for our little family of 5 (kids 6, 4 and 1)We lost power and contacted the owner and he called the power company and helped make sure it was resolved quickly. “Finding this cozy cottage covered in trees and it's shady porch was just what I needed to get away from the city. It is very centrally located to many springs and beautiful natural areas and works as a great home base. It only 2 blocks from Ft. White, but you feel like you are out in the country. I LOVED having the windows open and not having to worry who was looking in. Really enjoyed the stay, also fenced yard great for dogs.”

“This is the first VRBO we have all agreed that we need to come back to. Not one time did any of us say "oh, if they only had ... ". The house was very clean. The directions/instructions were spot on. The hosts were responsive and informative. It's a great location for what we wanted to do - kayaking and relaxing. The only thing we needed to supply was the groceries and the adventure. It was a 10 out of 10 mini vacay!”

It took our family about 2 and a half hours to paddle on the (available) kayaks upriver into the State Park and to the midpoint launch, and an hour to float/paddle back.
