“Two of us stayed in the cabin for a weekend during the winter, and it was so cozy! The fireplace did a great job of heating the space, and kicks on automatically. We had no problem staying warm. As other reviews stated, though it backs up to woods, it is in a neighborhood. But there is a decent amount of seclusion. “The cottage was just what we needed. It was plenty big enough for 5 adults and 2 kids. The lake was great for my granddaughters for swimming and the sandy bottom worked out well. Had everything we needed as far for cooking, rooms of a good size. We went the sand dune clime and butterfly zoo in traverse city. Stacey was great to work with. Will go back for sure next year. ”

“We had a wonderful time staying at the "Red Cottage". We thought the property was even better in person then the photos listed.
