“We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!”

“Stayed for 2 nights in mid April. The weather didn't cooperate, but that is not the hotel's fault. We were given a balcony room on the first floor. Unable to use the balcony due to the rain and chilly temps. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. We loved the wine options available in the lobby. “Viihtyisä pieni hotelli kauniilla seudulla, helppo tulla autolla. Rauhallinen ja turvallisen tuntuinen alue. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Huone oli tilava ja siisti. Hotellin vieressä myös bussipysäkki jos haluaa lähteä kaupungille. Pienenä miinuksena suihkussa veden lämpötilan heilahtelu kylmästä kuumaan, sekä huoneessa ollut huonetuoksu. “Very nice hotel in a quiet environment. The whole property is nicely decorated. Especially at night the scenery is beautiful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very good breakfast. I also recommend the restaurant for dinner. Good parking availability. Staff is very friendly. Only minor: the WIFI in my room was unstable. Otherwise: very warmly recommended. I was there for business purpose, but would definitely consider to stay there with the family. Especially kids will love this place too.”
