“This is a great place with friendly and kind staff. Just a but not close to the town. You have to take the bus to go there and NEVER ATEMPT to walk to there. The shortcut is full of ice that can't be walked. Also, the main road to there is only road for cars that's not possible for people to walk there. The Bus terminates very early like at 1800 so you have to manage you time well. There is no lift there so be preapred to take your packs through the wooden staris.”

“总的来说还是比较满意的，性价比比较高，旅馆门前就有公交车去到两个火车站，而且用旅馆给的卡，公交免费坐。不过缺点是行李存放不方便，如果有贵重物品的话，必须存放在付费的寄存柜中，而且这个柜子不单是按时间，而且是按次来收费的。假设租了12个小时，但过了一小时要取用其中的东西，那么12小时的费用就白付了。房间中用于放行李的地方也较少。”

“Very nice and clean property right on the lake. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station which is convenient. When I was there there were a lot of families with young children and not a lot of young adults so it was not a very social hostel as a solo traveller, I do not know if it is always like this. ”

“This hostel has a beautiful view and is right on the lake. But the WiFi situation is terrible! No WiFi in the rooms and poor signal in the common area. The property is also right next to the train tracks, and the train goes by often and way into the night. There’s also one restaurant close by that I could find, so very few places to eat/shop/etc. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want to sit on the lake and relax, unplugged. “We loved the view! Access between the unit and Wengen was easy via the free van service during their service hours. Outside of the service hours (after 20:00 and before 08:00) it can get pricey paying for a taxi. The walk is nice but there is no sidewalk so it can be dangerous. The loft is accessible by a steep ladder and the ceiling is not standing height. The beds were super comfortable. We had a wonderful stay! The area is just spectacular for hiking and exploring.”
