Although my husband and I had both spent time in the region many years ago, this was our first visit as a family and we chose Wengen due to it's central location to many of the places we wanted to check out. The location and the chalet definitely did not disappoint! We were a little concerned when the weather forecast called for 10 days of non-stop rain so chose to rent a car vs taking the train from……

“annie schneider et son mari nous attendaient à notre arrivée donc accèsx très facile chalet super bien équipé et d'une propreté SUissE beau jardin, terrasse, barbecue, et altitude qui compense la chaleur donc super séjour plein de randonnées et d'excusions à faire alentour donc super spot de départ pour des vancances tous aximuts mais surtout, beau site, bien équipé, personnes fiables et sympathiques, pour le reste il y a mastercard”

Each morning and evening, we could hear cow bells from the surrounding farms, and the view from the back porch over the hills was stunning. Habkern is a more rural option than others many tourists go to but it was a great base for us to use because we went to many different areas around the Jungfrau region. Although a bus comes to the town and right by the home, we had a car and feel like that was really……

“The neighborhood was so peaceful, barely any cars going by and waking up to the birds singing was wonderful. Basic but clean, loved the washer/dryer but there is no microwave or freezer. The patio was huge with a gorgeous view, unfortunately the rain kept us inside most of our 5 night stay. We could hear cow and goat bells nearby but couldn't find a way to go see without cutting through private properties. Very Relaxing stay. ”
