“We love this place. This was our second visit. It's great for fishing and crabbing. The home is clean, and there are plenty of activities to do at the house (kayaking, games, cornhole, firepit, etc. It is a short drive to the beach, to stores, and good restaurants if you want to venture out. It's an hour away from Houston. NASA is a fun day trip. We highly recommend the Lone Oak River Retreat.”

“Amazing Stay!! The house smelled great, first thing we noticed when walking in. It was super clean, beds were plush and comfortable. The little extras were a nice touch, and we had everything we needed to prepare a nice meal. Going to bed every evening seeing Deer, Owls, and other wildlife… Waking up to them as well as hearing the birds was pleasant. Very private, and peaceful. Big picture windows with a nice view.
