“We greatly enjoyed our time in the riverfront home! We had an excellent view of the river and dam and the home came equipped with just avout everything we could have needed. We look forward to another stay in the future!”

“The home was the perfect size for my husband and I along with our Labrador retriever. The space was very clean and the environment was super quiet and serene. Our college age boys enjoyed hanging out with us on the deck during their visit to the home. The kitchen is very nice as were the other areas of the home. ”

“We had a wonderful family weekend at The Dairy Barn in Hillsville. Rebecca was an outstanding host. She gave us lots of helpful information and answered messages promptly. The cabin was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Great outdoor space in the backyard with a nice view. We highly recommend this rental. ”

“Loved almost everything…cabin next door is being worked on so huge mound of debris at edge of driveway but that won’t last forever, neither will that nail gun and electric saw. We were disappointed not to be able to use the upper deck of the dock because it is in desperate need of refinishing, but relished the paddle boards and kayak time on the gorgeous lake. Being the chef for 9-people I missed having a block of good knives, but the configuration of the house is fabulous. Rocking chairs on……

“Or only issue was the front steps and hand rail were very rickety. Almost tripped several times. These should be fixed or at least some form of warning sign should be posted ”

“The listing states "step back in time" and that certainly sets the tone. If you are looking for a place to stay where peace and nature are the main features, look no further. Nice accommodations, plenty of heat sources to help you stay warm, kitchen is fairly well stocked with pots, pans, spices, oils to help make meals with. I personally loved the that there was a new kitchen sponge waiting for me (it's the little things). Back porch is covered with a tin roof. We sat out there for over an hour……

“We found this townhome to be very rustic on the outside but very modern and updated inside. When we built our house we had parquet floors throughout and Berber carpet just like the bedrooms in the townhouse so we especially loved it! The stairs were a bit much for both of us due to knee injuries but we managed. A railing going downstairs would have been a huge help. It would be nice if the dumpsters were closer by the unit. Views from inside were awesome! I really appreciate how……
