“It was just what we wanted for a one-night stay. The staff were very kind & efficient. Supper was faultless, but breakfast was slow and the "crispy" bacon too thick and tough.”

“Lovely hotel in the heart of Painswik. The staff was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay. This is a very old building, so there is no lift. We were on the top floor, so a bit of a hike. Probably not ideal if you have any mobility issues. The rooms are clean, but small(ish). The shower was awesome. Super hot. Food was good as was the pub. Nice place 🤗”
