“The cabin is very comfortable and well equipped. Beds and linens were very nice and the kitchen had every item necessary for cooking in during rainy weather. We dd not use the grill but did use it during our first visit and it worked well. Location! Location! Location! perfect for fishing and shopping in the nearby towns. Thanks Tanya for sharing this great cabin with us!”

“Took our dogs up here to get away from 4th of July fireworks. Cabin was adorable and clean. Our dogs loved walking around the grounds.We also loved how dog-friendly this place is. Hosts left us blankets to cover couches so our pups could sit with us. They left us plenty of poop bags. Our girl Lenny (the black dog in the pictures) loved the dog bed in the corner between the couches. Place was wonderfully quiet. We loved hearing the nighttime noises of the frogs from the nearby pond. Odds are……

“Great little place just off the main highway. Easy to find and ready for a relaxing weekend. We had 4 people and everyone fit great. Plenty of parking for all the bikes and a shower to wash all the bugs and road debris off from the 700 miles we put on. Will be back soon.”

“We are 4 women in our eighties who have been friends since grade school. We take an annual 4 day trip each summer. This year we wanted to learn about the Driftless area of southern MN and WI. The mansion in La Crosse was the perfect home base for exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay at the Cargill-Pettibone mansion. Lots of room and nice accommodations. We would definitely recommend it to a larger group. ”
