“We had a great stay, very relaxing. Ken & Christine were very nice! We did around 3.5 miles of hiking on their property. So makes more trails to explore! Could ride the trails with your MTB also! Only suggestion is maybe a queen side mattress. Besides that we really enjoyed the property, thank you! ”

“Darrel reached out several days in advanced. Driveway to get back to apartment is a little tighter then I like but very doable. The place was a very pleasant surprise. More roomier then pictures appeared. Beds are firm. Close to everything in the historic downtown area. Would recommend this place.”

“We were in town for WFU football. Condo was wonderfully located for easy in/out to stadium as well as downtown and campus. Everything was updated including new, plush linens. Kitchen had the basics (including coffee filters), and all bathrooms were well stocked with toiletries. There was a faint musty smell likely due to pets in the property at one point but it did not detract in any way from the stay. Finally, communication was fabulous - prompt and informative. ”

“Beautiful and well appointed apartment located on ground floor of a two story townhouse. Owner offered frequent communication and we really enjoyed our stay. A long term Tennant lives upstairs but there is ample privacy and separation between the two apartments, our paths never crossed.”

“I stayed here with some friends to get away and do some hiking. This is a very special home. I've never stayed anywhere like it. History permeates the property and house itself. Yet you have all the modern amenities you could need. The sound of the waterfall is with you inside or outside and creates a very peaceful environment. “The cabin is so cute! It sits on beautiful property and watching the animals is so therapeutic. It was a short trip into Mayberry and close by to several restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Mount Airy. The cabin was very clean and everything we needed was provided. We also were provided with milk, juice, raisin bread and Reese Cups - YUM!
