“I stayed here with some friends to get away and do some hiking. This is a very special home. I've never stayed anywhere like it. History permeates the property and house itself. Yet you have all the modern amenities you could need. The sound of the waterfall is with you inside or outside and creates a very peaceful environment. The bunk beds are not in the bedroom as the posting indicates. This didn't affect us but for anyone reading this it might be helpful to know they're located outside the……

“The cabin is so cute! It sits on beautiful property and watching the animals is so therapeutic. It was a short trip into Mayberry and close by to several restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Mount Airy. The cabin was very clean and everything we needed was provided. We also were provided with milk, juice, raisin bread and Reese Cups - YUM! Thank You again Randy and Kim!”
