“Room and bathroom lmuch larger than expected and certainly more ch larger than a regular hotel room. Very quiet and comfortable. Moreover a historical site.”

“We had a wonderful time. We were a little further from the Erie Canal, about a half hour, but found it easily with GPS. The front desk gave us a great list of the restaurants in the area. My only complaint would be that the coffee at the lobby was often cold. ”

“Vernon Down hotel is one of the best in the area. Staff is friendly and hotwl and well kept.”

“We stayed for 3 nights, 2nd time staying here and had a great experience. The staff were notably friendly, so much that I'm writing this review. They were very friendly and helpful! The room was spacious, bed very comfortable and the food options in the morning were solid and typical of a HIE. It's next door to two restaurants so it's very convenient to walk to dinner, and there's an amazing bagel place (Willie's) just over the bridge for bigger breakfast options and lunch.”
