“The cottage was much worse than the photos. The online photos are of more expensive or updated suites or are taken to deceive. The beds are excellent. The two units we saw are otherwise very dated. Clean but in need of replacement except the beds. The internet is not wired, so it's slow, drops often and has no security. The TV is so old you can't stream or connect HDMI, so it's just commercial cable, and it doesn't swivel. Not the end of the world, but in a resort room in the evening it's crazy……

“The house was well maintained for such an old house. Very small bathroom. I would not recommend more than 2 to 4 people stay here. The back yard was a lot smaller than we hoped. I felt overall it was a good place to stay. Maybe a little over priced in my opinion. ”

“We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. “The house location was excellent. The kitchen was a bit of a disappointment, it was small and the pots and pans were lacking in the sense there were no smaller pots and the layoff was not functional. The upstairs bath needs updated the tub needs reglazing and its dangerous to use. I have some mobility issues so its not user friendly to older people. Otherwise we enjoyed our time there”

“The property manager contacted us as expected and check in was easy. Inside and outside, the home was nothing as advertised. Nails sticking out of the walls, dishwasher not attached so it falls out when you pull out the rack; old cars, broken chairs, lawnmowers, old pool, old jacuzzi, a winebego, a boat and toilet seat all strewn around the yard. Also, the water was brown and undrinkable and the kitchen was woefully under-stocked. While the beds were comfortable, the one we slept in had no top……
