“Fabulous spot for a long weekend away from Auckland. The sea view from the main property is amazing, and the pool / games barn a great place for the kids to be entertained. The hosts are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the Kohinui (family) cottage - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and heat pumps/AC in every room. The cottages aren't new, but the hosts have done a great job in making sure they feel clean and comfortable. Parua……

“We only stayed one night at this property and arrived late however there was a member of staff waiting to greet us. The hotel was close to all facilities and within a few minutes drive of the the popular tourist spots. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would be happy to return again.”

“For the price this place is basic. You are paying 5 star prices and getting 3 star standard. Basic. Lamps in bedroom didn’t work. It was just cheap, cold no view not comfortable in the apartment. I stay all over nz for work and I have never paid over $330 for a night in such a basic hotel. I’ll never stay here again ”
