“Property was excellent - very convenient to Burning Rock ATV and our own property just up the road. House was clean and spacious for our family - Really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to a return trip soon. It was super nice to have all the little things taken care of for you when you arrive. Charcoal for the grill, coffee, salt & pepper etc. ”

“Enjoyed stay. Would recommend bringing your own charcoal. Charming property, can park 3 cars if needed. We used Hinton as our base to go hiking and explore the area. Lots to do. “The BIG house is indeed spacious and was extremely clean! We enjoyed grilling and sitting out on the upper and lower deck/patio. The river view is calm and serene! Although the owners are very transparent about the train noise (…it was indeed loud and numerous!), I wish there was more transparency with the proximity to the General Store, which includes a gas station. The lot is one and the same—with reserved spaces for guests closest to the house. That being said, the communication with the……

“This was a great space for our family of five. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of bath towels, and lots of space to spread out. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio. The location was perfect, lots of shopping and dining options near by. The host was awesome with communication, very quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.”

“This is the second time I’ve stayed at the bungalow. It is near the river and quiet. You do have a train that comes by often, but it was to the thrill and amazement of my 10-year-old. We walked down to the river and fished a lot, which is only 100 yards from the bungalow. If you’re looking for granite countertops and an eight persons Jacuzzi, this might not be the place for you. It’s just a quiet old farmhouse that is clean and functional for a small family. You’ll do a lot of front porch……
