“The Timberwolf is beautiful! I haven’t camped in 15 years and the accommodations made it a great experience. Location is perfect for easy access to many area lakes for fishing. The unit was nicely stocked as well! I also LOVED that that there were no odors of any kind in the camper, including the sheets and towels! Jay, the owner, was very responsive and easy to work with. “A warm welcome by Jay with tips and directions to help the family get settled. The cottage was well prepared for a long or short stay. While an older decor, the cottage has been well maintained and offered some nostalgic forms of media (cassette deck, cassette tapes and dvd player). The days and nights were almost completely silent with plenty of privacy. The screen porch was very nice for dining without bugs buzzing around your plate. This was a very memorable visit and hope to visit again.”

“Great overall. Cabin was clean and cozy but a little heavy with furniture to navigate around. No toliet so thank gooodness I packed some and left a couple rola for the next guests. I’m convinced the giant tadpoles ate all the fish…not even a nibble. The hill going up to the cabin can be tough for someone with health issues. “If you are looking for an actual Northwoods experience, this is the place. I have been visiting the Northwoods of Wisconsin since 1992 and have stayed at many locations. All have their pros and cons. Pros: It is located on a great lake for fishing and is close to other attractions, such as waterfalls and touristy towns like Boulder Junction. Cons: Bring your own drinking water, as the rust is severe on this property, which is typical. Oh, the mosquitos are the state bird up in Valis County, and……
