“House was great and had everything we needed. Highly recommend. Large and private, but not quite secluded. Can see other houses. Mountain driveway is not to be underestimated. 4WD required and need tall clearance under car. It is 1-car wide and challenged when you meet another car coming the other way. Close enough to both Shenandoah for outdoor activities and C’ville for city attractions. Cleanliness great! Communication easy and prompt. ”

“A beautiful house on a beautiful piece of property. Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! If you are looking to de-stress yourself and slow your pace while taking in some of nature’s show it would be hard to beat this place. It’s has the amenities that make life a little easier and if you really can’t stay away from the TV or just need to see that game they have you covered. The owners are super responsive and helpful. If you want to get a bite to eat local dining options are no more than……

“A beautiful cabin and a responsive, helpful host. One thing I do want to call out is that the listing's callout that you should have AWD/4WD is somewhat underselling the challenge of a few of the hills and turns. It's a 1.6 mile, single lane gravel road to the property, with two sharp downhill (or uphill, when leaving) turns. The quality of one of the hills in particular has a lot of deep grooves, probably from people going up it in wetter weather, that can make navigating a little challenging.……

“It is a lovely home. Beautiful sunset views. Driving time to the park entrance was 30 minutes. Food shopping is 10 minutes away. The hot tub was very relaxing. We really appreciated the full size washer and dryer ”

“My siblings and I stayed for a week at this lovely house. We swam, kayaked, fished, and relaxed on the huge decks. On our walks we saw deer, turkey, egrets and more. The house sits on a small lake with clear, deep water, perfect for swimming. We cooked meals in the spacious kitchen and shopped in Waynesboro, which is only about 20 minutes away. Every night we watched incredible sunsets from the deck.If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing spot, this is the place!”
