“I would say the room was great. It was clean and very spacious. The staff working in the office were very friendly and kind. The parking is plentiful and easy to access. The area around the hotel is quiet and calm. The only real consideration is that the area where this is located does not have much in the way of food options, shopping, or much else and the hotel staff and owners of course don't have anything to do with that. “Property was very picturesque with fantastic views and the Appalachian Trail is within walking distance. Very restful and rejuvenating atmosphere…plenty of peace and quiet and local wildlife. “Fantastic stay for Shenandoah hikes. Make sure to shop before hand because grocery and gas are quite far, but the property is beautiful and has many little critters running about near the main clubhouse (i.e., kitties of many kinds and a massive duck as well). The grill is a George Forman but it still worked as well as we needed for basic hot dog and burgers for dinner. Overall great experience and will absolutely book again if we return for more hiking!”

“The house was as described. We are a family of 12, with 2 dogs, and the home felt very spacious. There is very little yard to play games in, however, the deck was very nice. The game room was a hit with the kids and adults. The DR table sat the entire family, and the kitchen was large to have several people working at a time. The owners took care of any needs we had. Overall, very happy with our stay there. ”

“We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. ”
