“Your place was fantastic. The linens were top notch. You did the best you could with the small bathrooms. Regarding the bed. It seemed perfect until I woke up in the middle of the night and where I was lying had dipped down. I had to move to the other side where it was even. My niece had the same experience. Probably nothing you can do about it, but I wouldn't want to sleep on that bed again.Just a few suggestions to make it even better.-Put the instructions for the thermostat in the book.-Not……

“The house was just as described. Very clean inside and out and the backyard was beautifully blooming in the spring time. My bother's teenagers enjoyed the room with the bunkbeds and everyone enjoyed the quiet house and neighborhood. Great neighborhood to go for a walk or just hang out on the patio in the back yard. Will rent again if back in the area!”

“Very much enjoyed our stay at the Sierra Sunset Inn. The gift basket with a bottle of wine and treats was a very nice touch. The house is very clean and well stocked. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, and all the drawers are labeled with the contents. It was cold & rainy so the fireplace was appreciated.Because the kitchen is so large the dining table is odd, and there’s not a lot of seating in the living room area. It worked ok for 4 people, but not sure it would be good for more people.”

The latter was particularly important to us as we had to prepare some dishes for a family reunion that was held elsewhere. Kathy was very responsive to our questions. “My husband and I stayed here o be near Auburn for The Canyons 100 mile race. The location is close to all. We could get to stores and restaurants quickly and easily. It served our purpose for what we needed. Fair price for the type of home. It is older and remodeled. I it was clean it is in a neighborhood and you can hear the neighbors dog barking but that want to Bad. We had ants but nothing we couldn’t Handel. “Colleen was super nice and helpful during our whole stay! When we’re first pulled in there are so many lovely animals, including a very friendly dog.I was here for a race and was able to have my family come stay as well. We got to say hi to the horses and jog around in the nearby roads for a short period. Great location, great place, and gracious host. I would come back next year if it works out! Thank you”
