“Overall, my kids and I enjoyed our stay here. I would definitely recommend it if you want a small, quiet, quaint cabin to stay in. It was a perfect size for the 4 of us. Lots of wildlife to enjoy! The drive in was a little bumpy with lots of pot holes. Just go slow and pay attention. The only thing I would recommend is getting a more comfortable couch which reclines. ”

“We fished although we didn't catch anything, the view of the lake was so relaxing to look at, couldn't ask for better weather. Our dog loved swimming in it. We enjoyed evenings sitting on the porch listening to nature. We eat in cooking breakfast and dinner and ate our meals out on the porch. Also went on a mountain drive. Hope to return one day! “We came into town for our son’s wedding which took place at a farm in Whitwell. We loved this house on the river- it was so peaceful and serene. Each morning I went out on the deck and turned on my bird app- within minutes, it would have detected 10 species of birds! The house was spacious but cozy- plenty of space for our family. We were only in town for 3 days, but I would love to come back again to spend some time relaxing in this haven on the river! ”
