However, one concern was the presence of dead flies on the restaurant’s window sill. Given the warm weather, this issue should have been addressed promptly to maintain cleanliness ”

“We enjoyed our stay after we went to our original booking snd was advised by Police and Community Police Staff not to stay there, the rooms were very clean (family room), but very warm, it was quite close to all places we wanted to goto, would stay again if i was in the area”

“We stayed at this wonderful hotel as we were attending the horse racing at haydock race course. The room was beautiful , the bed was divine and I slept so comfortably! There was a fan which was needed as the weather was hot (a shark fan - which is a real luxury touch) also tea and coffee making facilities, water, hairdryer, dressing table with accessible plugs! It was my husband's 40th and we had just got married and Poppy brought a bottle of fizz to our room which was such a lovely suprise and……

“The ladies on reception were lovely, very friendly and informative. The room was very spacious and clean. The lady on the bar was great too, smiley and chatty even late on when the bar filled up after the Becky Hill show at Haydock racecourse!”

“Location is desirable with 20-min walk to the Bus Station. Reception staff are kind and helpful. Safe and tranquil even walking back from Bus Station to the hotel at 9-ish pm. Free carpark and breakfast 👍 Minor drawbacks：no fridge and telephone in the room. Hotel phones can be used in the lobby though.”

“Very short stay (one night) and very last minute! However, they accommodated and were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful - very spacious and a gorgeous bathroom - the best power shower i've ever used!! Also - the bed was SO COMFY. Thank you. ”
