“The only thing that could have made this stay better would have been that it didn’t rain.. but that is nothing that could be controlled. The first day my daughter and I took a little hike in the woods nearby and came up by the pasture where the horses where and she named one so lovingly “rainbow farts” (she is 6). “The unit was neat, organized, and esthetically pleasing however we didnt have any cookware besides knives, bowls, and a spoon. There were no remotes for either tvs and the receptacle in the main master bed wasnt working. Furthermore, we had a few mishaps with miscommunication, or lack there of, but they were quick to rectify their mistakes and take accountability. All in all, we enjoyed our stay for the most part and would recommend others to stay!”

“Five of us girls made the trip to the book house to stay overnight and celebrate my birthday—we were blown away by the the details of this property! It was truly a labor of love—what a great space to have a movie night and relax with a good book. The outside fire pit is amazing too. Parking was definitely tight but it was absolutely worth it!”

“Good for what we needed, there isn’t a living room but the kitchen area has a table that fit our needs for “gathering” The one bed was very large and both beds were comfortable. While we didn’t need any for our overnight stay, there were supplies including towels, hair dryer, shampoo, ironing board and iron, soap, pots and pans in the kitchen as well as plates and utensils.
