“Martha and her family could not have made us more welcome. The house was absolutely stunning and decorated beautifully throughout. The attention to detail was second to none. The breakfast was unlike anything we have ever experienced, a truly unique occasion made even grander by Martha's Mum and Dad waiting on us in full service uniform including white gloves. We only wished we had booked a longer stay, and will definitely be back. ”

“This bed and breakfast is run by a lovely young couple who were a delight to talk to. I had numerous questions before we arrived and they were answered promptly. The rooms were clean and charming. The history of the building is fascinating and there was a lot of literature on hand about the area. The breakfast was delicious, a recipe from the owner's grandmother who was also the previous owner. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!”

“We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet……

“We were disappointed with our stay at the Buckhorn Inn. I had called the owner in the morning to let them know of our time of arrival and nobody was there to unlock the door for us. After waiting for twenty minutes we drove to the next restaurant to call them, since there is no cell phone reception at the Inn. “My wife, dog, and I had an amazing weekend stay here at the cabin. The pictures do not do this place justice, it is very clean and has everything you’ll need. Our dog lived running around the property and the fire pit was perfect in the evening. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We are excited to come back!!”

“This house is everything it says it is. Out of the way but a great place to get together with friends and family to make new memories.
