“Lovely family hotel, nice place good location ”

“Our stay was lovely couldn’t fault it apart from the weather. Our room was on the top floor and with the weather being quite hot the room was so warm on a night time. The room could do with a fan or even air con as there is only one small window that opens. Apart from that the room its self was perfect clean, tidy and in a perfect location situated in the middle of the town and lake both a 10 minute walk each way. Thanks again! ”

Delivery knocks on the doors of your neighbours has the same effects as knocking on your doors. If you want to sleep, book elsewhere. ”

“Ivythwaite Lodge is a beautiful house with many original features. It was a bonus to have a fridge in the room. We appreciated the warmth of the property and also the excellent service provided by Andrew and Abigail. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked options could be ordered the night before by text. Most of the food was locally sourced and Abigail’s home baking was great. The property was in a quiet location but easily accessible to Windermere and Bowness. The comfortable bed ( ours was……
