“Couldn’t fault the property whatsoever, only downside to the stay was workman digging up the road outside from 8-5 each day which also restricted access to the property. Not a fault of the host of course but needed to leave the property during the day as couldn’t hear yourself think when workers working. ”

“We stayed in July 2024 as a group of 13 (age range was teenagers to adults) + 2 dogs. Location is great with a good range of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance from the house and main attractions of Windermere a short drive away. 5 en-suite bathrooms were much appreciated given we were 4 separate families. Also a table we could all sit at at the same time also fab! Hot tub also appreciated!”

“ We stopped at Croft cottage over the Easter weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. As a party of 6 adults a baby and a small dog the house was plenty big enough for everyone and was fully equipped which made our stay pleasant. The gardens and views over the lake from the hot tub are beautiful and were perfect for an Easter egg hunt. “Property was as expected but some areas needed attention. Kitchen floor hadn't been cleaned, the work tops felt sticky in places and there were discarded bottle tops under the fridge door and half used bags of chips, pizzas etc in the freezer. The lounge was comfy but smelled as though dogs had recently stayed there. The hot tub area is nice but the water needs cleaning. Bedrooms were lovely and the bedding fresh.
