“Unfortunately the pictures of the property are outdated so not a true reflection of what to expect during your stay. There is a BBQ pictured yet no longer available. This is not mentioned in the description. It does also not mention that towels are not provided. Directions to the property are very poor. The postcode does not take you to the White Cross Bay holiday park where the lodge is located, this would have been very helpful and avoid us getting lost for a bit. No help desk at the……

“There was a damp smell upon arrival. When we looked around we could see there had been a leak from the bathroom staining the ceilings and carpets. The bathroom door did not lock and there property was generally in a poor state of repair. Marks on every wall and paint peeling from the window sills. Cracked and rocking tiles throughout downstairs. The oven was dirty. Despite the listing stating there was wi-fi an instruction on the table stated there was not. “We were not given the key code before arrival and were in very heavy rain trying to get through on the telephone to get the code, waiting for a call back. The cleaning prior to our arrival was poor- plus there were two pairs of underpants in the drawer from a previous visitor, whenever that might have been! It needs better heating than a storage heater and plug in radiators, it was cold.”
