“Beautiful property within walking distance of multiple restaurants. Came here for the half Ironman and it was great to be close to the venue. The church bell did ring several times through the night which didn wake me up. Will definitely stay here again!”

“Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. However, what made the strongest impression was the fiery glow of dawn though the pine trees outside our balcony every morning in the Margeret Brent suite. Rhododaktylos, "The rosy-fingered dawn": I never understood the true meaning……

The kitchen had the basics so we were able to make some meals but also enjoy the local seafood. They provided many resources like brochures and books to reference about the area. “My best friend and I spent a weekend at the lodge and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed by Debbie and she gave us a nice tour of the place. We love sea glass hunting and there is a great spot not far from the lodge where we found TONS. I also found shark teeth! The lodge was very clean, unique, and in a beautiful location. We can't wait to come back with our husbands!”
