“Wife and I were looking for a place away from the hustle that comes with NOVA normally, and especially the weekend of the inauguration. I must say we found the absolute best spot. Nelson county has always been a favorite spot for us to go to, but most of the time we have made day trips. I absolutely love being able to post up for a weekend in a quiet setting and being able to relax. Even the pup enjoys the quiet and are keen to relax next to the stoves. “Wonderful place to stay for a family reunion-kids loved the pool and frisbee golf. The owners even had pool toys for the kids to use! ”

“Booked last minute and property met all our needs. Clean, well stocked and good overall condition. Great value! We walked to the slopes both days which was the main draw to this particular house. A bit of a hike but totally doable if you’re in good shape. Nice being so close to the market for convenient provisions. We’d certainly stay there again!”

“The property was spacious and well kept. We did have a problem with the kitchen window. It wasn't completely shut and because handles had been removed, we couldn't close it. Manager was alerted. Suggested that we use space heater until he could get maintenance, Things worked out. Also door in Master bedroom 1 was out of alignment and twice we had someone who couldn't get out. Otherwise everything went well. ”

“Although the weather was rainy for the majority of our stay, the cabin has books, tons of games and a very well equipped kitchen which helped to make the stay so much fun. The space off the great room was wonderful for the kids. To top it off, when Nathan, the property manager, found out we were celebrating our six year old grand daughter's birthday he brought her a teddy bear! The kids and the adults had a wonderful stay!”

“The owners/staff were very nice and helpful. They promoted the local restaurants, one of which I dined. The hotel was clean, upgraded. Little noisy with room doors slamming (they did not lock quickly like normal doors so patrons slammed them without knowing they would engage in a short time period). Breakfast could have included more fruit and other healthier options. But overall, it was enjoyable.”
