“Tim and Paula were so great. Very friendly and gave us recommendations for dining options and local activities. We had fun chatting with them over coffee in the morning while they prepped breakfast because we are early risers. We enjoyed the game room playing air hockey and cards. The pool table on the main floor was so much fun as well. So many rooms to enjoy on the main floor with books and tvs and sitting areas. We had fun playing the “Find Bernie Sanders bobblehead”. “This could not have been a more wonderful stay. The manor house is beautiful as are the grounds. The deck overlooks the lake with a lovely path that leads to a dock. Breakfast on the deck was simply joyful. The rooms are well appointed and very clean and tidy. Breakfast was home cooked with fresh and local ingredients. Bring a bottle of wine with you for an evening taking in the fresh air and lake views. The owners are lovely and have thought of everything their guests will need. This is a must……

“We had a nice stay at the Mt Philo Inn. The hosts are so lovely and super accommodating. The East Suite is spacious and homey. It would be perfect for a family. We were given a perfectly curated basket with all the fixings for a Vermont breakfast which we greatly appreciated especially on this snowy weekend. The location is wonderful if you’re interested in hiking as you can walk right to the mountain which we loved. The hosts even supply sleds for a bit of winter fun! ”
