“Cabanas located in trees - you are literally sleeping outside. Different experience, but nice. Be aware that animals may enter, and the river is very close by, so maybe not so good for people who needs complete silence to sleep. Staff very helpful and nice!”

“The Managers were absolutely wonderful. So friendly, caring, so thoughtful, and so polite. Rooms were enormous with Four Poster Bed. Surrounded by Nature. Morning call from Peacocks, sunset, evening muted Elephant calls. Food requests honoured and the cooking was magic. Breakfast FoC and as much as a Wrestler could possibly eat. Take the family, enjoy the best of Sri Lankan hospitality. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have traveled the World, stayed at the No.1 Hotels in……

“Hi, the property was nice, but in the middle of the rice fields. They did not serve dinner, so you have to take a tuktuk to town. The room itself was large and beautiful, but the AC did not work and there was no fridge in the room.”

“Beautiful, peaceful setting by the lake. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool which looked great but would definitely come back again. Hotel staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our stay a fantastic one ”

“Awesome property and owner. The person was so nice. He saved the day and we slept through our alarm in the morning, and gently knocked on our door to make sure we were not missing out on the safari. He even gave us bus tips to get to Ella in the evening. And we had a lovely chat with him in the afternoon on his veranda while staying cool from the sun. He’s a great guy and very caring for his guests. Very highly recommend this place! ”
