“The cabin was wonderful escape from the heat and humidity of Myrtle Beach! The cabin was cozy and comfortable and the location was perfect - situated in between the towns of Highlands and Franklin. Dry Falls and Bridal Veil Falls were close and accessible. We tried to hike down to the falls on the property, but it was a little too difficult for us (three senior ladies)! We enjoyed shopping and antiquing in the area and we found some great places for dinner. The cabin was well-equipped,……

“The house was plenty big enough for our group of 4 adults and 3 children. The kids loved playing in the creek below and exploring around the property! The adults loved sitting on the back porch and listening to the sound of the small waterfall. The location was excellent for visiting waterfalls and swimming holes. We came back each day and cooked dinner (the kitchen was fully stocked with pans and utensils!) and made a fire in the fire pit! We made many great memories for our family at this……

“We were very happy with our stay! The beds were super comfy! The amenities were fabulous. We found the walking trail by the middle school and walked to McDonalds for breakfast one morning. The neighborhood was quiet. We would stay again if we are ever in Brevard. ”

“Very close to devils fork state park. Great if you have a boat and want to enjoy the lake! We had 5 adults and used 3/4 rooms. Pleanty of space for us. Really enjoyed the screened in porch. Happy we were able to bring our dogs!”

“My sister and I stayed 3 nights. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has a great flow. The covered back porch w a waterfall and pond was a pleasant surprise. We were out hiking, sightseeing and shopping during the day and we didn’t cook while we were there so our time in the cottage was limited. It is in a great convenient location. I would definitely stay again - maybe Spring or Fall when the weather is pleasanter! ”

“This was our second time visiting BLR. The first time we stayed near the Greeter's Cottage (ie: the entrance to the community) but the drive to the Lake Club was a long and windy 20min. This time we decided to stay closer to the Clubhouse, and Kelly's home is only about 5min away. It was great for easy access with our 3 young kids! We got lots of time at the beach/pool, and they loved the Bear Creek Park (which is walking distance from the home). They have a blast playing in the creek! Kelly's……
