“I just LOVED my stay at this cabin. The outdoor space is one of the best I've had the opportunity to enjoy. The front porch has plush oversize seating and a swing for morning coffee and late night relaxation with beautiful lighting. There was also a covered deck area steps away from the house that sat next to the creek which allowed you to stretch out and listed to the water and soak up nature. This cabin had just the right amount of rustic quality with modern finishes in the kitchen and……

“Exactly as described and is as nice as it looks in the pictures.. Clean, nicely decorated and a convenient location. Enjoyed our stay. ”

“Beautiful and relaxing!! If you're a nature lover you can't ask for more!! Surrounded by Rhododendron on a creek with many little waterfalls....and trout.....at the end of a gravel road! Moss covered boulders that when we walked up to front of the cabin many little blue/purple butterflies exploded up from the ground!!! Wow!!”

“great property, close to main street”

“Jennings our Hostess was always at Hand, we communicated frequently not because of any problems, but because she was engaging and knowledgeable of all things on that side of the Highland Plateau. The provisioning of the cabin was beyond every expectation. From the smallest detail to special pet blankets for the bed, all was available. “We had another amazing stay at the Hideaway this year. This house is immaculate and we felt very much at home here. So close to downtown Brevard, we could walk to grab a coffee in the morning or enjoy some evening drinks as we strolled through the shops. Though we didn't get to take advantage of the fire pit this year, we appreciate that there was wood available for us! The owner is always quick to respond to questions. We have already booked a week for next year! ”

“We loved our stay at Cattail Cottage. It was cozy, comfortable and close to the shops in Cashiers. There were several outdoor spaces to enjoy. The kitchen has a great coffee/tea bar and it was stocked with samples for your visit. The owner also left a snack basket that we throughly enjoyed. Checkout was a breeze! ”
