“This property is older but very nice and right on the lake with a boat dock that we used and was very happy with. The owner was outstanding to talk to and work with. The parking is somewhat limited for a larger or trailer vehicle but the owner had a place for our boat trailer next door so it was all good. Great folks !!Loved our stay! And the fishing is excellent for rainbow trout, walleye, bass and pike. So beautiful and so clean and peaceful property. This rental was the best equipped that we……

“The Mint was very clean. The queen bed upstairs was very hard as others stated. Maybe a mattress topper needed. Sheets and towels need replacing. ”

The scenery is absolutely stunning and it is not too far away from any activity but far enough away that you feel completely at peace. I have stayed at many B&Bs and this is by far one of the best. “My wife and sons and I stayed here and used it as a base of operations for day trips (Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, Cheboygan). It was great! Homey and comfortable. The fire pit was great, the host provided firewood (plus there’s tons to be gathered in the nearby woods). Kitchen was very nicely equipped for a northern Michigan cabin, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. Lastly, it was nice watching the deer eat from the fruit trees on the other side of the road. Would recommend!”

“We had three couples stay as we were boating the inland waterway. So the dock was very convenient. All of the accommodations were as presented. With plenty of cooking items available. We ate many meals on the nice deck overlooking the black river.”

“Had a great view of the lake and easy to park your boat. I would recommend some non stick pot and pans. Eric was super helpful. Our rental buddies were awesome neighbors. Fishing was a bit hard but fun. Never saw a hail storm in June it was crazy. Thank you for the memories. ”
