“Just what we wanted: a spacious amount of room for 4 people, an unusual location while still convenient to Portland, and a responsive host. It's more "house" than "boat," but it's located on a pretty little stretch of water with a small current. We loved watching the geese family, heron and beaver across the way. We weren't expecting train tracks to be so close, or the trains so plentiful, but it soon added to the charm of the place. Access is easy, with one reserved parking spot. Others living……

“This place worked well for us (family of 4) staying to visit with family in the area. It was very close to lots of restaurants and whatnot. The area was a little sketchy- it was by all really run down houses/apartments. However I never didn’t feel safe. The king bed was comfy but the twin beds were not. The furniture was cute but not very comfy but we didn’t spend a lot of time there. The kitchen was semi stocked but not super great for cooking. Loved that they provided coffee. They use pretty……

“This property was a great fit for 7 family members. There was a lot of shared space for us to enjoy. The house is beautiful but it is located near a very busy street so there is a lot of noise from the cars.”

Lots of room for our family to spread out. Loved the hot tub after a long day. We stay at homes often for sports tournaments and my husband said this was by far his favorite. “We were exploring the area for ten days. We made it to Merlwn,Yale and Swift reservoirs, Astoria, Seaside and Mt Hood, Bonneville dam and fish hatchery plus three trips to Columbia Outlet in Selwood and a bunch of other shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and the BBQ. The beef, sweet corn and fresh fish are far superior to what is available here in Costa Rica. My girls were impressed an didn't want to come home. We had one fire in the fire pit. My wife idoes not grasp the campfire……

“3 of us came to the area to visit family. The hobby farm was a great place for our group of adults to gather and visit. We had 3 staying overnight and a total of 8 of us during a few days. Plenty of space indoors, outdoor under covered patio or the uncovered table area. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We also got to visit with the animals. I did not notice any animal smells around the house, but you might hear a rooster in the morning. Overall a great experience and we……
