“If you are looking for a rustic, off grid, romantic mountain getaway- this is the rental for you. There is no Wi-Fi, and we did not have cell phone service- so do your research about the area before you arrive. The hosts did have a guest book with a plethora of information about the area and attractions. “My family loved the rental and the area!! Great hikes in Shenandoah National Park, quaint little town with the beautiful Luray Caverns… a beautiful cavern, excursions to local Battlefields, and a very handy Walmart. We sat outside by the fire pit, and one night we saw the Northern Lights!!! A real treat! We relaxed in the hot tub and heated pool!! We also enjoyed the game room! Great Vacay!”

“Check-in instructions very easy to follow. The home is recently renovated, had a gorgeous view and was very clean. It’s an easy 10-15 min drive to the entrance to Skyline Drive. The chalet and especially the kitchen were well appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing get away. Although it’s a newly listed property, it obvious the hosts are experienced and were very gracious! Would highly recommend this property! ”

“We experienced the beauty of a mountain snowstorm and it was awesome! We enjoyed the gorgeous view sitting by the fireplace and feeling super cozy. Nina the owner was so thoughtful, checking on us, suggesting a good place for our car during the storm so that we wouldn’t get stuck when it came time to go home, even cleaning our car off for us!
