“Overall it was a great get away for a hiking trip. House was stocked well and laid out nicely. I would suggest more comfortable furniture for watching TV and hanging in the screen porch. Extra towels for hot tub would also be nice. We enjoyed our stay. As far as clean. The fridge was not cleaned out or clean. Everything else was clean!”

“My husband and I stayed for two nights on our way to pick up our daughter for college dorm move out at the end of her school year. Could not have been happier! This place made for a perfect and peaceful getaway for two in a beautiful location. The house was adorable, clean, the beds super comfy, and had everything we needed. “Really enjoyed our stay, though I wish I had brought my dog! Short girls' trip with my bestie. The property was easy to find, was very clean, and had literally everything we needed for our short stay - exactly as advertised. Comfy beds, fluffy towels, well equipped kitchen, and the porch was lovely in the evening. Not too far from the Shenandoah park entrance. Other than an hour or 2 of iffy WiFi (probably weather related) everything went great. Would happily return!”

“We were not at the property for too long, but found it to be quiet, charming, and with the beautiful views - exactly as featured. Communication with the host was easy! The beds were comfortable.The one thing to know if that though bedspreads are provided at the property (we brought our own linens), there are not extra blankets beyond that. It can get cool at night, so we were very glad we brought some extra with us! ”

“The property is truly breathtaking and the photos do not do the location justice. It is indeed high up in a cliff overlooking the beautiful Shenandoah. We spent almost all of our time on the back deck, watching storms roll by and listening to the birds. Inside, we did not lack for anything. “This was a great spot for a college reunion of 10 guys. We jump around from year to year, but are planning to come back here. We were all amazed at the construction of the main house and it's giant pine logs. (Suggestion: hire a professional photographer to represent the place better on this site.)
