“Overall this was the perfect house for our short visit! Very clean and well stocked.Our only complaint was all the snow, unusual for this area. Fortunately we had a shovel and salt with us, which we had to use on the back deck and front stairs.”

“Only 1 hour from Kitty Hawk and an easy walk to the fishing dock. The River is very shallow far beyond the dock so it’s a great place to play with the kids. The house is well stocked with water toys for big and little kids. Great vacation place for family! ”

“We had the opportunity to stay at Jen and Stu’s home in Albemarle Plantation and it was great! We are familiar with the plantation as we have family living there as well. The home is beautifully renovated and well equipped with everything you could need from bicycles to golf clubs to a Sonos system by the hot tub. We definitely will be staying here again when visiting family at the plantation in the future. ”

“This property was the best equipped location I have ever seen. The kids and younger adults enjoyed the kayaks and all of us enjoyed the cornhole. My granddaughter caught three catfish, one flounder, and two turtles. She was thrilled. I would recommend this to anyone with kids or are kids at heart. Personally, the desk became my favorite spot with a book”

“It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a good location. The place was clean-ish, but could be more clean. There were no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, which made for a damp smell and a humid area to get ready for the day. Barely any extra amenities like linens, pillows, towels, washcloths, or toilet paper. There is a washer and drier but no laundry soap to use. An ok place to stay in a pinch, but not my first choice.”

“The host was good with communication ahead of time. Upon arrival, the home was in what appeared to be a state of abandonment. The code the host gave was right and we were able to get in. The AC was not on, so it was almost 90 degrees and the house smelled musky. There was what looked like a months worth of mail on the kitchen counter along with some tools (maybe from previous maintenance?). The floors and counters were sticky and there was pubic hair stuck to the counter in a few spots. Several……
