“Ilmington is a charming village and it is still unspoilt by tourism and traffic. It is so bucolic as the sheep graze on the hills surrounding the village and the quiet of the night is worth the price of admission. We loved the Howard Arms. The Village room was spacious and had loads of history and beautiful features. Breakfasts were plentiful with good options. We will definitely stay here again if we return to this part of the Cotswolds.”

“We loved the idea of staying in a castle and that in itself was magical. We stayed in the Cromwell Suite which is big. The kids loved the extra room to roam. “The Ettington Park hotel is an extraordinary English Family Castle with a great & long history. Our stay in this hotel was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Despite belated arrival at night, we were all welcomed by their staff with thoughfully arranged dinner & wine & porter services of many bulk luggage.
