“We had a friendly welcome from Jane and her staff. The room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The pub closed early on Sunday night, so we had to go elsewhere for food, but it meant a very peaceful night. Strongly recommended!”

“Wonderful property and place to stay!! Right along the river. Our room had a balcony that you could sit on and watch/listen to the birds. The people who work there were so kind and helpful. We would recommend this place to anyone not wanting to stay in London but looking for a more country side stay. Maidenhead was terrific and the food fantastic. Would stay again!!”

“We had a great stay at the Compleat Angler for my wife's birthday. Lovely room overlooking the river and very well looked after by the staff. Beautiful grounds and fabulous river views from the hotel. We shall return.”

“Our stay at the hotel was good overall. We had two issues. firstly it says there is parking on site, what it doesnt say (until after you have booked) is that there is a £15 per day charge for payking. Secondly our room was very noisy until gone 1am. We think there is roof access for staffabove the room we were in. We complained on the second night (as we gave them the benefit of the doubt on the first night). After we complained it was quieter.”

“The room, and venue itself, was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of room for our weekend bags and hanging space for our clothes. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower pressure was good. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly the young lady who served our breakfast, and the kitchen staff kindly catered for my slightly awkward breakfast request. They were also quick to check whether I was fully vegan when I requested no meat or eggs, as……

“We stayed in the long walk room, which had a comfy bed, the room was clean with quaint furniture. Caroline was very hospitable and allowed us to use the room ahead of time. Easy onsite parking, with many options to get to Windsor Castle, walking, by bus or by taxi. There is a convenience store and the Prince of Albert Pub across the road, which served up good pub grub. The full English breakfast was exceptional and mouthwatering. Caroline answered any questions we had and would go out of her way……
