“Everything about this ‘stately home’ hotel states luxury and first class service, from the amazing, unique approach road through a rock bridge, to the extensive landscaped grounds which are a delight to explore and are up to national arboretum standards. The public rooms, many of which have views of the grounds, evoke the splendid history of the house and our bedroom was large, light and airy with an equally large bathroom to match. “Lovely clean rooms but would be better if the TV was mounted on the wall so that the mirror could be better used, an extra chair or stool in the bedroom would also be helpful as I had to kneel on the floor. Normally this would not have bothered me but we were getting ready for a wedding.”

Comfortable room with lots of electricity plug in points for charging phones, computers etc which is a pleasing change. Lovely large shower with powerful rain hail.
