“As per its name, the hilltop overlooks a classic New England bay with small boats at anchor. And the property takes full advantage of it with lots of porch and lawn seating. It's a lovely place with a lovely vibe and excellent breakfast. ”

“I thought the property was very quaint, loved the views from my deck overlooking the water. Every staff member greeted me every time I came across them. I feel they did a wonderful job getting the property up to par seeing how they had just opened for the season on 6/18/25!! Breakfast was delicious. ”

“I traveled with my daughter and grandkids. We stayed at 5 different hotels. Everyone voted this hotel as their favorite. Great location, great breakfast very friendly staff. Will stay here again. ”

“Very scenic”

“The location was great, I liked being able to walk across the bridge to shopping and boat tours. The bed felt too soft when I sat on it but I ended up sleeping well which I don't do if the bed is too soft. The pillows were not great but ok. The staff were all very friendly. There was a nice fire pit area out back by the bar so you could sit and look at the boats coming and going. I would stay there again.”
